Grandma loves to show Josh how to ride his rocking horse.

I love this photo and I know Grandma is going to kill me for posting
it. However, I just couldn't resist. Josh did not want to ride his new
rocking horse and grandma was determined to teach him how to do it.
(She bought it and was not going to settle for it just sitting in the
corner)

After a few atempts to get Josh to ride, I suggested she get on to
show him how it was done. To my surprise and amazement she did. I
happened to catch this moment of pure craziness and it just made my
day. My favorite part is Josh looking at her and thinking, what is
this lady doing.

Well people who actually read the things I write, I want to wish you
all a Merry Christmas. However, always remember that the things in
life that make you laugh are sometimes woman over 55 riding a little
pony designed for a toddler.

She's Crafty?

I am definitely not one of those crafty people. Sometimes I wish I was, but it's just not there. I've tried. I am not creative and when I try to be, it usually turns out wrong in so many ways. But, this week I think I made some strides. On Monday, my wonderful friend Kayti came over to help me make a snowflake banner.

Lea and the Snow Flakes

I think it turned out pretty well. Thanks Kayti!

Then yesterday, Chelsea came over and we started working on a wreath. I finished it today and am quite proud! Thanks for all your cutting skills Chelsea!

Today we went and saw Santa at Dear Lizzie.

Josh with Santa
Josh didn't cry which was great.

Josh probably wanted a little more time with Santa but there were too many kids to have him all to ourselves.

Josh on Dad's lap while he works.

Josh Sometimes likes to sit on my lap while I work... But he has a tough time sitting still.

Mitt

So, one of my friends (the same one who edited our wedding video), did Mitt Romney's advertising. I happened upon this lovely video. If this video had been out there, Mitt probably would be Pres. Mitt today.

Scary!

Joshua and I came up to Logan yesterday to be with Kevin for the rest of the week. As a lot of you know, it's not my favorite place. I love being with Kev but our apt up here is without a lot of stuff: dishwasher, furniture, tv, internet, and vacuum (vacuum being the important one today). Well, last time we were here I dropped a glass jar and thought I picked up all of the pieces but I didn't have a vacuum to double check. Anyways, today Josh and I were getting ready to go on a walk and I noticed his mouth was bleeding. I assumed it was a tooth coming in or something but I checked and saw a piece of glass in there! Anyone who knows me well, knows I get stressed and I freak out immediately. So there we were outside: me starting to cry, prying open Josh's mouth and him screaming at me. After a lot of poking inside that mouth of his, I finally got the glass out, but not without some anxiety! Does anyone else have any high anxiety moments with their children or am I the only one? Nothing ever seems to go wrong when Kevin is with Joshie.

First Post

Finally! It's been hard to blog because we've been so busy around here! Kevin has been in Logan Monday-Friday. He just started the MBA program at Utah State. I finished my school year and have been on full mommy duty for 2 weeks now. I love it! It's so wonderful to be home with Joshie.

A couple weeks ago we were lucky to have our good friend Aaron Eskaran take some family photos for us. Here are just a couple that Kevin had time to edit:
